Profit analytics for e-commerce

Know the true profit of every sales channel

Margo brings revenue and ad spend from all your sales channels into one dashboard and calculates your net profit — after COGS, fees, shipping, and ads.

Net Profit
Your real bottom line
Net Margin
Profit as a share of revenue
Blended ROAS
Overall return on ad spend

A 3.0 ROAS in your ad account ≠ profit. After COGS, fees, and shipping, your real return may be 1.9 — meaning you’re barely breaking even. Margo shows you exactly that number.

Multichannel e-commerce pains you know too well

On the left: how it sounds in real life. On the right: what Margo does about it.

“I can see revenue, but I have no idea what I actually made. I only find out when I pull the spreadsheets together at the end of the month.”

Net Profit and Net Margin, calculated daily — after COGS, shipping, marketplace and payment fees, and ad spend.

“My data lives in five places: Meta, Google, marketplace dashboards, CRM exports, and the bank.”

One dashboard. Revenue from your CRM, Excel files, and marketplaces is merged with ad spend automatically, and duplicate orders are removed.

“My ad account shows a 3.0 ROAS, but that’s before COGS and fees. I can’t see my real return.”

Brand-wide Blended ROAS — revenue vs. all ad spend, right next to net profit. You’ll see when a “profitable” channel is really just breaking even.

“I can’t tell which channel actually makes money and which one burns through it.”

A separate P&L for every channel, plus channel mix: each channel’s contribution to brand profit, not just to revenue.

“Returns and COD refusals eat into my margin, but quietly — at first they still show up in revenue.”

Positive/negative order statuses per channel, plus return rate. Negative orders are excluded from revenue and COGS.

“I sell in several currencies — exchange rates and conversions make a mess of my books.”

Daily National Bank of Poland (NBP) rates for ~150 currencies, with history. An accurate P&L in any currency, for any date.

“Every month I spend hours compiling spreadsheets / Looker Studio reports by hand.”

Nightly auto-sync + email import: Excel order files sent by email are imported automatically. Set it up once — then just watch the numbers.

Your whole profit picture, in one place

Unified revenue

Orders from your CRM, Excel/CSV files, and marketplaces (Rozetka, Allegro, Kasta, Intertop, MD Fashion) in a single table — deduplicated, with statuses.

A cost model built for your business

COGS in three modes, shipping, fees, fixed and variable costs — versioned over time, per channel. Change a purchase price and your historical numbers stay accurate.

Ad connectors + attribution

Spend from Meta Ads and Google Ads syncs automatically and is split across channels by attribution rules (prefix / contains / regex, priority, % split).

True profitability

Net Profit, Net Margin, and Blended ROAS with every cost included — not just “revenue minus ads.”

Dashboards & visuals

KPIs with period-over-period deltas and sparklines, a “revenue → costs → profit” waterfall, a cost breakdown, a daily combo chart, and channel mix.

Multi-currency

NBP rates for ~150 currencies, history for any date — profit in both the brand’s and the channel’s currency.

Statuses & returns

Positive/negative statuses per channel, return rate, and a refresh lookback window: orders “mature,” so older statuses get updated too.

Instagram Direct

DM sales metrics: message volume, new conversations per day, and conversation-to-order rate.

How it works

1

Connect your sources

Upload orders as Excel/CSV or connect your CRM or marketplace, plus your Meta and Google ad accounts via secure OAuth.

2

Set up your unit economics once

Enter your COGS, shipping, fees, and other costs. Margo keeps a history of changes, so past periods don’t “break” when you update the numbers.

3

See your profit

Margo calculates Net Profit and Blended ROAS for each channel and for the brand as a whole. Period-over-period comparison works out of the box.

For teams: invite colleagues as Owner, Admin, or Viewer — each person sees only the brands and channels they have access to (full data isolation).

What real numbers reveal

Anonymized examples: names removed, numbers untouched.

Jewelry brand, US market

The ad accounts showed decent ROAS, and the owner considered the channel “profitable.” In Margo, a week of revenue was matched against every cost: COGS, shipping, fees, and ads.

The channel was barely in the black. Without accounting for COGS and fees, the decision to scale ad spend would have been a mistake.

Footwear brand, multichannel in Ukraine

The brand was selling through its website, marketplaces, and Instagram Direct at once. Total revenue kept growing, but “where’s the profit?” had no clear answer. In Margo, the team split the P&L by channel, turned on order statuses (with COD refusals and returns counted as negative), and factored in marketplace fees.

One channel turned out to be losing money: after marketplace fees and its share of COD refusals, the real margin was negative, even though its revenue looked healthy.
